TATTOO : BUTTERFLY & ROSES
This is my very first tattoo I made on real human skin. I can still remember how trembled I was before the beginning of the session, even though my mentors were also there behind me watching everything (could this possibly be the reason why I was very nervous? lol). I only used 1 round liner for this tattoo and although it’s not perfect, I learned a lot of things. Patience, positive mind, see the big picture but do small steps persistently, etc…
Anyway…
Butterfly is believed to be a symbol to represent freedom and transformation. It’s like you were an ugly duckling before but you choose to change your life and make simple small steps until you become a beautiful swan (wth! it’s about butterfly and I am talking about swan!). Okay, umm… So you were a tiny little caterpillar who wished to embrace the sky and become beautiful but all you know is that you have to eat, eat, and eat, until one day you hide in your cocoon. It seems like life is degrading, right? From being able to crawl anywhere and then now have to be in a small static coccoon (like my studio! But I do my best to make you feel cozy #fingercrossed).
But as long as you can be little bit more patient, make those small improvement steps even in difficult situations, keep your head up high and your mind positive, then the ‘it’ time will come at the right time where you break through from within and before you know it, you are already in the sky, flying as a butterfly!
Oops! Too much for the butterfly. For the rose, well, let’s save it for next time! Cheers for now…
